About New Age Bodywork

Behind the Healing

Welcome to New Age Bodywork! I’m TJ, a licensed massage therapist based in the heart of Millcreek, Utah. I specialize in fascia-focused bodywork like myofascial release and somatic therapies—techniques that go beyond surface-level relief to address chronic tension and restore balance throughout the body.

My passion is helping clients feel safe, grounded, and free in their own skin. Every session is designed to support the connection between mind and body, creating space for both release and renewal.

Outside the treatment room, I share my life with my husband, two playful dogs, and one very curious cat. To me, wellness is more than what happens on the table—it’s about finding joy in everyday moments. I’d love to invite you on this journey of healing, where each session becomes an opportunity for rejuvenation and self-discovery.

What to Expect

I want your massage experience to feel comfortable and stress-free from start to finish. Here’s how it flows:

Before

  • Fill out your intake and consent forms ahead of time (link sent by email).

  • Drink plenty of water. Hydration helps your body release tension more easily.

  • Arrive 5–10 minutes early, or if I’m visiting your home, I’ll arrive 10–15 minutes before your appointment to set up.

During

  • We’ll start with a short consultation to discuss your goals, concerns, and preferences.

  • You’ll have privacy to undress to your comfort level and settle under the sheets.

  • Throughout the massage, I’ll check in and encourage you to communicate about pressure, comfort, or any adjustments you need

After

  • Drink water to help flush your system.

  • Take it easy to let your body integrate the work.

  • Some soreness may occur if we worked deeply, but gentle stretching, a warm bath, or rest will help.

  • Give yourself Space & Grace! Emotional processing is a huge part of the recovery process!!

Modalities

I blend a variety of massage modalities to best suit your specific needs. Here is just a few to give you an idea!

  • Somatic Release – A body–mind approach using mindful touch and breath to ease emotional and physical tension.

  • Cupping Therapy – Suction cups stimulate blood flow, reduce inflammation, and release fascial restrictions.

  • Thai Massage – Assisted stretches to increase mobility and restore balance.

  • Deep Tissue Massage – Targeted structural work to realign and relieve chronic tension.

  • Aromatherapy – Essential oils enhance relaxation and can support emotional release.

  • Gua Sha (Scraping) – Helps break up adhesions, scar tissue, and chronic tension patterns.
