TMJ Is More Than Just Jaw Pain

If you clench.
If you grind.
If your jaw pops, clicks, or feels exhausted by the end of the day…

I see you.

The jaw is deeply connected to your nervous system. It’s tied into your fight-or-flight response, your diaphragm, your pelvic floor, even your hips.

Wild, right?

Intraoral massage (yes, that means working inside the mouth with gloves on) can feel vulnerable, and it is. But it can also be incredibly relieving.

So many of us hold unspoken stress in our jaw. Words we didn’t say. Emotions we swallowed. Deadlines we powered through.

When the jaw softens, I often see the whole body follow.

Headaches ease. Neck tension decreases. Breathing deepens.

Your jaw isn’t just a hinge.
It’s part of your entire emotional and structural system.

And it deserves more than being told to “just relax.”

I’m TJ, a licensed massage therapist based in the heart of Millcreek, Utah. I specialize in fascia-focused bodywork like myofascial release and somatic therapies—techniques that go beyond surface-level relief to address chronic tension and restore balance throughout the body.

My passion is helping clients feel safe, grounded, and free in their own skin. Every session is designed to support the connection between mind and body, creating space for both release and renewal.

Outside the treatment room, I share my life with my husband, two playful dogs, and one very curious cat. To me, wellness is more than what happens on the table—it’s about finding joy in everyday moments. I’d love to invite you on this journey of healing, where each session becomes an opportunity for rejuvenation and self-discovery.
